Sustainability is not just a goal for DP World and ICTS, it is the starting point and the outcome of their shared strategy. By renewing 105 chassis within the DP World rental fleet, ICTS helps reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 598.5 tonnes, reinforcing a joint commitment to lower environmental impact and extended asset lifecycles.
This collaborative project comes full circle through a two-part approach. First, ICTS revamps 50 lightweight LAG rental chassis from 2015, significantly prolonging their operational life and reducing the need for replacement. At the same time, DP World integrates 55 new-generation Kässbohrer chassis, equipped with automatic lifting axles, advanced automation, and upgraded electronics—cutting tire wear, improving efficiency, and lowering overall operating costs.
Together, refurbishment and innovation ensure that DP World continues to meet the highest safety and performance standards when deploying ICTS trailers, both short and long term. Planned preventive maintenance replaces corrective repairs, downtime is minimized, and uptime is maximized.
The result is a smart, circular solution: fewer interruptions, lower emissions, reduced costs, and a stronger multimodal strategy. By extending lifespans today, DP World and ICTS actively reduce their environmental footprint tomorrow, bringing the process back to where it began: sustainable logistics with lasting impact.
