Niels joined ICTS in February 2011, following a tip from his girlfriend’s uncle who was working at the company at the time. He started at the Parts Shop, where he spent five years gaining hands-on technical experience. After another 5 years in Operations, he was invited to take on a new challenge as a Rental Specialist. Today, Niels supports all rental activities in Belgium, handling pricing, contracts, visiting clients and making offers, combining his technical background with commercial insight.
How is he doing today?
“ICTS has seen me grow, professionally and personally. When I joined, I was just starting. Today I am married, have two beautiful kids, and support the rental business in Belgium.”
From tools and trailers to spreadsheets and strategy: Niels’ career path reflects a steady evolution. With each role, he picked up new skills and responsibilities, and never lost the hands-on mindset he started with.
“The shift from workshop to office came naturally over time. Every step taught me something new, and ICTS gave me the space to keep growing.”
His proudest moment?
“Closing my first rental deal. That was the moment I thought: okay, I can do this!”

Today, Niels continues to support the Belgian rental business with energy, insight and a practical mindset.
