Six months into the year, ICTS welcomed Ewals Cargo Care in Zeebrugge, Belgium, for a new evaluation round. The meeting focused on the cooperation over the past months, looking at what went well, where improvements can be made and how ICTS can further assist Ewals in its daily operations. The upcoming summer season was also discussed, including the high peak in APK inspections to be carried out.
The visit included a tour of the restructured ICTS workshops in Zeebrugge. This gave the Ewals team a clear view of the new workshop setup and the way the site has been reorganised for trailer maintenance, repairs and operational follow-up. In recent weeks, several changes have been made within the workshops and operations to serve customers even more efficiently.
ICTS Services Antwerp will also create additional capacity for Ewals, mainly for damage repairs and technical interventions. This will help reduce trailer downtime and keep units available for daily transport operations.
It was also a good opportunity to meet Arthur Willems, Customer Service Officer at ICTS, and Paulina Zalewska, Workshops Manager at ICTS. Both are closely involved in the cooperation and remain key contact points for daily support.
ICTS also congratulates Ewals Cargo Care on its agreement to acquire Vos Transport Group. By combining Ewals’ European multimodal FTL (Full Truckload) network with Vos Transport Group’s strong LTL (Less Than Truckload) and groupage expertise, the acquisition supports further growth and a stronger European logistics network. The deal brings together two family-owned transport and logistics businesses with complementary strengths. Congratulations!
