Continuous training and technical development remain an important part of daily operations within ICTS. Through the ICTS Academy initiative, employees across all branches are given the opportunity to expand their technical knowledge, safety awareness and operational skill sets.
From workshop safety training to specialised technical sessions provided by leading industry suppliers, the programme supports the continued development of ICTS teams throughout Europe.
Safety First in Uithoorn
In April, eight colleagues at ICTS Services in Uithoorn successfully completed their BHV training and obtained their certification.
BHV is the Dutch workplace emergency response training focused on first aid, fire response and evacuation procedures. The training prepares employees to react quickly and correctly in emergency situations within the workplace environment.
For workshop and operational environments within the transport and logistics sector, having trained BHV responders on site remains an important part of workplace safety. This training also reflects the continued focus of ICTS on safety awareness and preparedness within its workshop operations.
Technical Trainings across Belgian Workshops
During the past months, ICTS mechanics from the Belgian branches in Zeebrugge, Ghent and Antwerp participated in several technical training sessions organised by Haldex and ZF Group.
The Haldex sessions focused on brake and air suspension basics, as well as the latest EB+4.0 systems, with both Dutch and English training sessions organised for the teams. Additional training courses provided by ZF Group covered systems including OptiTire, trailer iEBS and fundamental trailer brake technologies.
Modern trailer systems continue to evolve rapidly, with increasing integration of electronics, diagnostics and safety technologies. Ongoing technical training allows ICTS technicians to stay up to date with the latest developments and strengthens the technical expertise available across the workshop network.
By investing in supplier-led education and hands-on technical development, ICTS continues to support high service standards across the workshops.
