On Monday, March 30th, Jan Coene visited Tirsan Solutions’ new R&D Centre in Istanbul, Turkiye.
After an interesting introduction to the Group’s main brands – Kässbohrer, Talson, and Van Eck – at their impressive offices, we had the opportunity to see the latest developments at the spectacular test facilities.
New materials and vehicle systems were tested in line with improving operational demands as well as more pay load per trip Long Higher Capacity Vehicles (LHV) compliant with different country-based regulations across Europe. From long term durability to ergonomics, climate performance to finish quality, all aspects of the trailers in 70+ country environments are tested at this TÜV/DEKRA certified testing centre. The results are industry benchmark vehicles, such as the new octagonal Kässbohrer lightweight chassis. After testing, ICTS rented 55 of such new generation, latest technology lightweight chassis to DP World.
ICTS is impressed by the depth of experienced and validation at the facility and is looking forward to their next launch vehicle and solutions.
