ICTS has reaffirmed its collaboration with ECS, Belgian-based provider of integrated supply chain logistics and intermodal transport solutions, through a substantial long-term maintenance contract.

The core of this agreement lies in the maintenance of 45 ECS units: ICTS will provide preventative maintenance and offer road assistance services across Europe, ensuring the operational efficiency and longevity of these trailer units.

ECS embarks on a refurbishment project for the upper structure of its trailers, which involves the installation of new side curtains, roof tilts, as well as the revitalization of the headboard and rear doors. These enhancements breathe fresh life into the units, showcasing a proactive approach to reducing the ecological impact within the sector.

This environmentally conscious initiative aligns with ECS’ ethos of maintaining an eco-friendly approach and minimizing carbon emissions. Opting to refurbish these units not only extends their lifecycle but also significantly reduces the carbon footprint associated with producing new trailers.
